IMPORTANT UPDATES:
Parents and Buddies, the time is getting even closer! Please be reminded about what we spoke about at the meet and greet. We are reminding you so that the event will flow even smoother for you and our special guests. Please call or text if you have questions. 915 408 7511
1. Parents/honored guests: Please DO NOT arrive earlier than 4pm at Lifegate church. If you do, we will kindly ask that you wait in your car until 4pm
2. If parents are buddies, you can be there by 4pm.
3. Buddies: be at Lifegate ready to go by 3pm
4. Registration is closed for Honored guests, Buddies and Volunteers. Please do not invite anyone else.
5. Buddies will be waiting at 4pm to greet their Honored guests as parents drive up. Parents will then be directed where to park and parents will go straight to the Respite room.
6. Parents of honored guests, please bring your own earplugs
7. Parents will be dismissed at 9:15 so that they can go to the gym and pick up their kids since their event will end promptly at 9:30. We will have gift bags for your kids but they will be given to you.

*Parents, keep checking for updates. We will have a special meet and greet for the families and their buddies. This will be a time for your child and buddies to meet each other. We will also be giving you more information regarding the actual event on the 7th. Date and time to be announced for meet and greet. Stay tuned!
**Parents have asked about how they can help out. We appreciate your willingness to help, but as far as the 7th is concerned, that is your day to sit back and be pampered with a nice dinner, door prizes and entertainment while your child(ren) enjoy themselves at their own celebration. We don't want you to have to worry about doing any type of serving or helping. This is our gift to you. If you would like to make monetary donation to the event, there is a link for Night to Shine donations on this site to do that.

Night to Shine is a complimentary event for people with special needs hosted by local churches around the world. The event is open to anyone living with disabilities, ages 14 and older. Night to Shine is a prom night experience with special activities such as a red carpet entrance complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi, hair and makeup stations, shoeshines, special transportation to the red carpet and paparazzi greeting, karaoke, gifts, a catered dinner, a Sensory Room, a Respite Room for parents and caregivers, dancing, and a crowning ceremony where every guest is honored as a King or a Queen - the way God sees them each and every day.
Respite Room for Parents & Caregivers
What is the respite room?
Through Night to Shine, we want to honor the incredible parents, family members, and caretakers for their lifetime commitment to caring for their loved ones with special needs. The respite room will provide the opportunity to rest and enjoy a night off, knowing that their loved one is having an amazing time in a safe, friendly, and Christ-centered environment with a personally assigned companion. Comfortable seating, food, beverages, and entertainment will be provided.
Background Checks: Who needs one?
All volunteers, buddies and anyone over the age of 18 that will be in direct contact with our honored guests, are required to pass a background check.
Parents of honored guests who want to be a buddy to their child will also need to have a background check due to being with other honored guests.
We strongly suggest that you allow us to assign a buddy to your child but if you truly want to be a buddy to your child, we request only one parent be a buddy.

If you registered as a BUDDY or VOLUNTEER last year and have a BACKGROUND Check already, you need to email a copy to nighttoshineelpaso@gmail.com
